Summer warmth and calm winds will make a comeback in Denver Wednesday. The high temperature will near 89 degrees, warming up the area after yesterday’s cold front. Slight winds will roll through in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

“The dry, warm, and occasionally breezy weather will remain in place through Friday, resulting in elevated fire danger,” the weather service said.

The evening will be mostly clear with the waning moon in sight.

Tomorrow temperatures will continue climbing into the 90s with cloud cover expected in the evening. A slight chance of rain is expected Friday afternoon with a high temperature of 89 degrees.

Labor Day weekend should be pleasant, with a chance of afternoon showers on Saturday and a high temperature of 85 degrees. Sunday will be nearly identical with slightly less cloud cover and a low of 58 degrees.
