A torrent of hail and heavy rain hit the Denver metro Wednesday afternoon.
The storm brought pea-sized ice, with some areas seeing hail as big as marbles, in Northwest Denver and the western suburbs.
The neighborhood at 21st and Urban hit hard by hail and high water. This car stalled out, the driver was stranded until our engine crew arrived and the water receded. One family was making the best of the situation.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Denver County, SW Broomfield County, Westerrn Arapahoe, Northern Jefferson and SW Adams counties until 4:15 p.m.
