Colorado Springs police are investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found late Tuesday night, authorities say.
The name and age of the victim have not been released.
Police responding to a 10:08 p.m. call of a shooting and discovered the body of a man on the 800 block of Chapman Drive, according to a news release by Lt. Howard Black, police spokesman.
The man apparently had died of gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting.
The police department’s Violent Crimes Section is investigating the “suspicious” death, Black said.
