A mix of rain and snow showers is expected Tuesday morning in the Denver area, but little if any of the snow will stick to the ground, forecasters say.
Fog and misty rain is possible before 10 a.m., according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Rain and snow could fall between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., before the moisture turns completely to rain.
Little or no snow accumulation is expected.

On Tuesday night, another round of snow and rain showers are expected. A freeze warning is in place for the Denver metro area.
A chance of rain and snow is forecast for Wednesday, but little snow accumulation is expected, the NWS says. Another round of rain and is possible on Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will heat up to 50 degrees Thursday afternoon.
Sunshine is called for on Friday. The high temperature will climb to the upper 50s, forecasters say.
