Metro area residents are going to have to deal with sunny and warm weather this weekend accompanied by little or no drama.
Saturday’s high will be near 69 with light and variable winds that will top out at 6 mph in the afternoon. This followed by a clear night with a low around 40, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday will be even warmer with a high near 72, with light and variable winds coming from the southwest. Sunday night will drop to 42 with more light and variable winds.
Monday will be about the same, say forecasters, but with more clouds at night. Temperatures cool off a bit more before more clouds roll in on Tuesday night and produce a slight chance of showers on Wednesday.
