Snow showers could return briefly this week, interrupting a stretch of sunny, warm days in the Denver area.
The weather Sunday and Monday will remain sunny and warm with highs in the 70s, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Winds could gust up to 45 mph in the foothills and mountains on Sunday.
Afternoon showers on Tuesday could turn into snow in the evening. The weather service estimates there is a 50 percent chance of snow showers that night.
Temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday will likely be a little chillier than the past week with highs hovering in the high 40s and low 50s.
It will remain dry & very mild with gusty winds in the mountains & higher foothills. Breezy at times over the far northeast plains.
