Aurora police arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of first-degree murder Wednesday night in connection to a shooting that killed a man earlier that day.
Investigators are not releasing the teen’s name or photograph because he is a minor.
Aurora police responded to the area of East Montview Boulevard and Billings Street about 11:14 a.m. Wednesday to a report of gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found an adult man with a gunshot wound. The man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The Adam’s County Coroner’s Office has not released the name of the victim.
The 17th Judicial District Attorney will decide formal charges against the teen at a later date.
