Snow covers a car on Larimer Street on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018 in Denver. Getting your player ready...
A series of cold fronts will move from the Pacific across the central Rockies this weekend.
The fast paced flow of fronts that will race across the region tend to favor the mountains with snow, but leave Denver and the eastern plains with gusty winds, colder temperatures and just a little moisture.
A Blizzard Warning is in effect for the eastern plains from 11 p.m. Saturday until Sunday morning for 1 to 4 inches of snow along with high winds.
A high wind warning is in effect for the majority of eastern Colorado (including Denver) until 6 a.m. Sunday. Peak winds will be sustained at 35-45 mph, with gusts up to 65 mph. Downed trees, power lines, and damage to property are a possibility.
