Soft southwesterly breezes and above-normal temperatures are expected in Denver Tuesday afternoon while brisk winds and snow are possible in the high country, forecasters say.

The high temperature in downtown Denver will be around 60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

It could snow in the mountains Tuesday night. Winds will gust up to 70 mph, the weather service says.

On Wednesday, the high temperature will be around 60 degrees, the NWS says.

The second half of the week will be cooler, with high temperatures dropping to 50 on Thursday and 43 on Saturday.

Late Saturday night, there’s a slight chance for snow in Denver.

It could also snow on Sunday and Monday. The high temperatures on Sunday and Monday will be in the 30s, according to the weather service.
