Aurora police released an image of a bank robbery suspect on Saturday and asked for the public’s help identifying the man.

The ball cap-wearing man allegedly “attempted a robbery” late Friday afternoon at a U.S. bank branch at 2990 S. Peoria St., the Aurora Police Department . It’s unclear if any money was stolen during the incident, which was reported about 4 p.m.

Anyone with information about the suspect or his identity is asked to contact Detective Michael Thrapp at 303-472-0350. Anonymous tips also can be given to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, with a potential reward of up to $2,000, at 720-913-7867.
