The northbound lanes of Interstate 25 were reopened Saturday morning after it was closed in both directions over Raton Pass due to adverse weather Friday night.
The southbound lanes of I-25 will remain closed until roads around Trinidad are cleaned up, according to a Colorado State Patrol tweet.

The 7,384-foot high pass, which connects Colorado and New Mexico, was shut down at about 9 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Trinidad is on the approach to the pass in Colorado and Raton is located on the south side of the pass in New Mexico.
Snow was falling in Trinidad on Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.
