Three suspects in a shots-fired incident in Lakewood on Tuesday afternoon were caught in Denver, police said.
ALERT: There’s a large police presence in the area of W. 5th Ave/Stuart St after officers pursued and stopped a suspect vehicle related to a shots fired incident that occurred in a neighboring city. 3 suspects were taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing.

The incident, possibly related to a road rage dispute, happened at about 2:20 p.m. near the intersection of Dudley Street and West 1st Avenue, said John Romero, a Lakewood police spokesman.
A witness called police and said one vehicle was pursuing another vehicle and shots were fired, Romero said. Police have not found anyone who was hit by the gunfire.
Denver police stopped a vehicle in Denver in the area of West 5th Avenue and Stuart Street and took three suspects into custody, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
