Arvada police are investigating a shooting Thursday night that left one man with an “apparent gunshot wound.”
Police said in a news release that they responded to a report of shots fired at 7:54 p.m. at West 63rd Place and Quail Street, and after arriving, found the man in the 11200 block of West 63rd Place. He was transported to a hospital, but police said the extent of his injuries is unknown.
Investigators are following several leads about a potential suspect, according to the release, and do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
