A blast of snow and wind hit Denver this morning, with continued snowfall expected through 1 p.m. and a possible accumulation of up to 3 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday’s high is not slated to crack freezing with an expected temperature of 30 degrees. Overnight things will get colder with a low near 23 degrees.
Heavy snow will be moving into the Denver area after 7am. Morning commute may turn ugly in a hurry.

Friday’s forecast is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 43 degrees. Friday night should be mostly cloudy with another cold night around 22 degrees. Saturday should be mostly sunny with a high near 48 degrees with winds that could gusts as high as 15 mph.
Saturday night is expected to be mostly clear with a low around 28 degrees.
Sunday highs will hit near 54 degrees but will dip to 22 degrees at night with a slight chance of snow after 11 p.m.
A chance of snow continues Monday with a high near 29 degrees. Monday night is slated to be partly cloudy with a low around 11 degrees. Tuesday the sun will warm Denver up to a high near 35 degrees. Tuesday night clouds could roll into the night sky as temperatures drop to a low around 17 degrees.
Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 40 degrees.
