Raymond HernandezA man who is accused of molesting, raping and striking children appears to be on the run and was last seen in the San Luis area in southern Colorado, according to the Costilla County Sheriff’s Office.
The agency posted a booking photo from the Taos County Adult Detention Center in New Mexico, identifying Raymond M. Hernandez, 29, as the suspect.
According to the post, Hernandez has been charged with molesting two children and beating another child in Peñasco, New Mexico, during the last couple of weeks. The sheriff’s office said as of Friday morning, Hernandez was still wanted on allegations of raping a child.
Anyone with information about Hernandez’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
