Southwesterly breezes will drive temperatures to the upper 40s Tuesday and nearly 60 by Wednesday in Denver, according to forecasters.
The high temperature on Tuesday will be around 49 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Southwesterly breezes gusting up to 21 mph are expected in Denver, NWS says.
A high wind watch has been issued for the mountains and the northern foothills.

The warmest day of the week will be Wednesday when the high temperature could reach 59 degrees, the NWS says.
A slight cool down is forecast through the weekend. Temperatures will range from 54 on Thursday to 31 degrees on Sunday.
There’s a slight chance for snow Saturday after 11 a.m., the weather service says.
It could also snow on Sunday night, the NWS says.
