Bruce BagwellA 60-year-old Lakewood man has been formally charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his 58-year-old wife, officials say.
Bruce Bagwell also has been charged with two counts off committing a violent crime, according to a news release by Pamela Russell, spokeswoman for Jefferson County District Attorney Peter Weir.
Bagwell allegedly shot his wife Teresa Bagwell on the afternoon of Feb. 6 in the Parkview apartment complex, 9890 W. 26th Ave.
A preliminary hearing has been set for May 3.
