A driver struck and killed a woman as she was walking in a crosswalk at Broadway and Ridge Road in Arapahoe County on Thursday afternoon, authorities say.
The identity of the 82-year-old woman was not released Thursday.
The ACSO has reopened all lanes on northbound Broadway between Ridge Road and Easter Road after investigating a pedestrian/vehicle accident that killed an 82-year-old woman out walking. The driver is fully cooperating with investigators. The investigation is ongoing.

She was walking alone across Broadway at 1:11 p.m. when a man driving a Toyota vehicle struck her with his car, said Deborah Sherman, spokeswoman for the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
“It doesn’t look like he was speeding,” Sherman said.
Investigators will try to determine who had the right of way at the time of the collision, she said.
The driver is cooperating with police and an investigation is ongoing.
