A storm front is moving through Denver that will eventually bring a variety of weather on Friday including fog and freezing rain in the morning with rain, snow and thunderstorms in the afternoon an evening, forecasters say.
Between 1 and 3 inches of wet snow is forecast for Denver by Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. There’s a 50 percent chance of precipitation during daylight hours and 60 percent Friday night. Snow is expected to start falling around 7 p.m.
The foothills and mountains could get anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of new snow, the weather service says.
The high temperature will be around 47 degrees on Friday, the NWS says.
It could continue to snow until around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the weather service says. Up to a half inch of new snow could fall on Saturday.

Sunny skies and warmer temperatures are forecast for next week in Denver, according to forecasters.
The high on Tuesday will be around 61 degrees, the weather service says.
