Cooler temperatures are expected to remain throughout the day Sunday in Denver with some light snow showers in the mountains, according to the National Weather Service.
The colder temperatures Saturday were below average, the agency said on Twitter.

The forecast on Saturday calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of about 49 degrees and some calm winds in the afternoon, the weather service said. Evening temperatures are expected to get down to about 30 degrees with light and variable winds.
The coming week is expected to bring more rain showers and thunderstorms to Denver, with the warmest temperature expected on Friday near 68 degrees and 70 degrees on Saturday, the weather service said.
