The Denver coroner’s office has released the name of a 46-year-old homicide victim who was shot multiple times on Tuesday morning.
Sandy Walker II had been shot on the 900 block of East Colfax Avenue, according to a Friday news release by Steven Castro, spokesman for the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.

He was taken to Denver Health Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, Castro said.
An autopsy revealed that the cause of Walker’s death was multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death is homicide, Castro said.
