It’s going to be another topsy turvy weather week in the Mile High city, with temperatures rising to the lower 80s by Tuesday and a blustery snowstorm hitting by Wednesday, forecasters say.
The first part of the week will be very warm with temperatures rising to about 74 degrees on Monday and 80 by Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
A strong storm enters the state Wednesday. Rain showers and thunderstorms are possible in the late afternoon in Denver. By 5 p.m., the rain will have turned to snow as a northerly weather system hits the metro area with blustery winds.
The high temperature will be 30 degrees cooler than Tuesday, rising to only 50 degrees, the NWS says.
Winds could gust up to 39 mph. Snow will continue to fall until midnight.
