
Elizabeth Warren will bring her Democratic campaign for president to Aurora on April 16, a campaign spokeswoman said Monday.
The liberal Massachusetts senator will make her first stop in Colorado as a presidential candidate at , 2501 Dallas St.
The senator will take questions from voters in a town hall-style gathering. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event begins an hour later, at 6:30. .
Warren’s arrival in the Centennial State will come three days after Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, a fellow presidential candidate, speaks at the University of Colorado. The college is with Klobuchar in its Macky Auditorium on April 13.
Warren and Klobuchar are competing with Colorado’s own former Gov. John Hickenlooper for next year’s Democratic nomination. Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Denver, is also considering a presidential run.
