After a dusting of snow overnight, metro Denver will remain cool on Saturday with scattered rain and snow showers.
High temperatures are expected to reach 45 degrees in Denver, according to the National Weather Service.
Isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon are also possible.
By Sunday, the wet weather should give way to rising temperatures and dry conditions, NWS said. Highs are expected to creep into the 60s on the plains; the mountains will remain in the 40s and 50s.
Spring showers could return by Tuesday, continuing through Thursday.
