Jefferson County deputies are investigating the fatal shooting of a 44-year-old Golden man as a homicide, officials said.
Kristian Macleod was shot around 4:15 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Kilmer Street, according to Jenny Fulton, spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Macleod was pronounced dead at a hospital 25 minutes after the call.
