A few warm days are ahead for the Denver metro area, with temperatures climbing to the 70s on Friday and peaking in the lower 80s Saturday before rainy weather drops temperatures back down into the 60s on Easter Sunday, forecasters predict.
The high temperature on Friday will be around 74 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. It will be mostly sunny on Saturday with a high of around 80 degrees.
Snow is possible in the mountains on Saturday, the NWS says.

A big weather change comes on Sunday, with the likelihood of rain showers and thunderstorms picking up through the day, the NWS says.
The high temperature on Easter will be around 63 degrees. It will be windy with gusts up to 20 mph.
There’s a good chance of rain on Monday, with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon, the NWS says. The high temperature will be about 49 degrees.
Denver will begin a gradual warm up through the middle of the week with temperatures rising to 59 degrees on Tuesday, 68 on Wednesday and 75 by Thursday.
There’s a slight chance of thunderstorms on Thursday.
