Those partaking in outdoor Cinco de Mayo festivities in Denver shouldn’t have too much of a problem with the weather — Sunday’s forecasted high is expected to be near 76 degrees. But that’s not likely to last throughout the week, with possible snow showers expected to return.
Sunday is forecast to be warmer than Saturday, bringing mostly sunny skies and some wind in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The evening temperature is expected to dip to about 47 degrees, with more light winds after midnight.
Higher Colorado terrains should expect more showers and winds to head their way.

Temperatures are expected to cool the rest of the week in Denver, with more rain showers and thunderstorms throughout the week, according to the weather service.
On Wednesday, the high in Denver is expected to be about 48 degrees with snow and rain showers likely in the evening, forecasters predicted.

Heavy rain is likely across northeast Colorado on Tuesday with snow accumulation expected in the mountains, according to the National Weather Service’s hazardous outlook.
“The unsettled weather pattern will linger into Thursday with much cooler temperatures across the area,” it said.
