
Hail fell in the north metro area — in Westminster and Broomfield — on Monday and it also hit areas on the Eastern Plains, including Limon.
There were no immediate reports of damage.

In Denver on Monday the high temperature topped out at 70 degrees, just after 2 p.m., as storm clouds rolled along the Front Range. The National Weather Service said pea-size hail fell in some areas including at the Interstate 25 and E-470 exchange north of Denver. Hail was up to one-inch in depth in some areas.
The hail falling didn’t last long.

Stormy skies continued into the evening, spawning “severe” storms in some areas as the weather moved east.
