Three of the Rockies’ most popular players are set for their bobblehead days at this summer, with , and giveaways making up the club’s summer bobblehead series.
The Rockies unveiled the designs for each of the three bobbleheads last week. Story’s pays homage to the 505-foot blast he hit last September, the longest homer in Coors Field history, while Freeland’s is a “K counter” and Blackmon’s plays his signature walk-up song, “Your Love,” when you press home plate.
Story’s bobblehead day is June 30 against the Dodgers, Blackmon’s is July 14 against the Reds and Freeland’s is August 4 against the Giants. The bobbleheads will be given out to the first 15,000 fans at each of those Sunday games.
