One person died Friday night after a car crashed into a pedestrian in southwest Denver, police said.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Stuart Street and Alameda Avenue, police said on Twitter. The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash stayed at the scene, police said.
Alameda was shut down in both directions Friday night as officers investigated.
Officers are on scene and Stuart on a serious injury hauto/Ped crash. Veh stayed on scene. Alameda is currently shut down in both directions for the investigation.
