Denver’s streak of 90-degree high temperature days is expected to continue Sunday.
Forecasters predict mostly sunny skies with a high near 92 degrees and a low near 62 degrees. Denver will likely get some scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
Wind gusts could get as high as 21 mph in the evening.
Monday is expected to bright slightly cooler temperatures with a high near 82 degrees in Denver, but the following days are expected to see warmer temperatures, according to the weather service.
Summer remains in force with very warm temps and scattered PM storms. Gusty winds of 35 to 45 mph, brief light to moderate rain, and a few cloud to ground lightning strikes. Cooler Monday with a better chance of storms, some may produce locally heavy rain.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected over the mountains Sunday afternoon moving east across the Interstate 25 corridor and plains, according to the hazardous weather outlook. The wind gusts could get as high as 45 mph, bringing along lightning and some rain.
A cold front will likely move across the area Monday, bringing more rain, gust winds and even small hail in northeast and north central Colorado, forecasters predicted. Cooler temperatures are expected Monday and the next couple of days in the high country, the outlook stated.
