Sunshine and very warm temperatures are forecast for the Denver metro area on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Mostly clear skies are expected and the high temperature will be around 88 degrees, the NWS said.
It will be partly cloudy on Wednesday with a high near 86 degrees, forecasters said.
Thursday will be hot with a high of about 94 degrees, the weather service said.
The next chance for rain and thunderstorms will be on Friday afternoon, when the high temperature will be around 94 degrees, the NWS said. There is a 20 percent chance of rain showers.
There’s a chance of rain and thunderstorms through the weekend with highs in the lower 90s, the forecast said.
