A man was fatally shot Sunday night in Aurora.
Aurora police said the man, shot near where 13th Avenue crosses Newark and Nome streets, died at a hospital.
Police blocked traffic in the area as they investigated the homicide.
No suspect was identified and the name of the victim wasn’t released.
UPDATE This is now being investigated as a homicide as the male transported to the hospital has died as a result of his injuries. PIO on scene on 13th between Newark and Nome for media briefing at 10:30.
