A person drove through a Taste of Colorado barricade Sunday night, injuring a pedestrian, according to Denver police.

Shortly before 9 p.m., a vehicle was attempting to get through a crowd of people at a 14th Street and Broadway barricade when the driver hit a pedestrian, causing a leg injury, police spokesman Kurt Barnes said. The driver is in custody.

Police crews are still on scene investigating the incident, Barnes added.

A Taste Of Colorado is the state’s largest free-admission outdoor festival. It runs through Labor Day.
