Golden easily put away Standley Lake by a score of 36-12 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Joey Mancuso led Golden’s passing attack with 80 yards through the air. Kevin Mulligan lead all Golden receivers with three receptions for 70 yards and two scores.
Matt Elliott spearheaded the Golden ground game by gaining 130 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 10.8 yards per carry.
Eli Garcia spearheaded the Standley Lake rushing attack by finishing with 45 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Golden heading to play Denver South and Standley Lake taking on Green Mountain.
