Cherokee Trail lost by a single touchdown in a 28-21 contest against Poudre on Friday, Sept. 20.
Poudre quarterback Sergio Tarango led the passing attack with 229 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and one interception. Tarango also added 40 yards on the ground. Poudre’s leading receiver was Duante Davis, who caught four passes for 61 yards. Deondre Sparrow got in on the action in the passing game as well, reeling in two passes for 60 yards and one touchdown.
Tate Satterfield spearheaded the Poudre rushing attack by finishing with 45 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
Poudre will play host to Fort Collins, while Cherokee Trail will travel to play Lakewood.
Cherokee Trail has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
