Dayspring Christian Academy handed Caliche a loss in a 24-18 showdown on Friday, Sept. 27.
Christian Still led Dayspring Christian Academy’s passing attack with 65 yards through the air. Dayspring Christian Academy’s leading receiver was Still, who caught one pass for 59 yards and one score. Caden Bonnell got involved in the passing game as well, reeling in five balls for 52 yards.
Garrett Krehbiel lead the Dayspring Christian Academy ground attack by running for 61 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 4.1 yards per carry.
In addition to Dylan Huss’ effort, Riley Stump paced the Caliche rushing attack by accumulating 21 yards in the contest.
Next up for each team, Dayspring Christian Academy will stay home and play Byers, while Caliche will travel to play South Park.
