Faith Christian handed University a loss in a 26-7 showdown on Friday, Sept. 27.
Edoardo Castaneda lead all Faith Christian rushers with 248 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 9.5 yards per carry.
University quarterback Chayden Cox led the passing attack with 126 yards through the air. Cox also added 27 yards and one touchdown on the ground. University’s leading receiver was Tayt Chacon, who caught seven passes for 61 yards.
Caden Measner lead all University rushers with 57 yards in the contest, averaging 7.1 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Faith Christian heading to play Denver West and University taking on Eaton.
