University narrowly lost to Eaton in a 25-23 contest on Friday, Oct. 4.

Eaton quarterback Scott Grable led the passing attack with 175 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and two interceptions. Grable also added 62 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Eaton’s leading receiver was Javi Hernandez, who caught four passes for 66 yards and one score.

In addition to Scott Grable’s effort, Gage Butler lead the Eaton ground attack by running for 29 yards in the contest.

Chayden Cox led University’s passing attack with 213 yards through the air. Cox also added 20 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Caden Measner lead all University receivers with seven catches for 79 yards. Tayt Chacon got involved in the passing game as well, grabbing two balls for 62 yards.

Sam Custer lead all University rushers with 75 yards in the game.

University will play host to Resurrection Christian, while Eaton will travel to play The Academy.
