Fossil Ridge narrowly lost to Horizon in a 16-13 contest on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Brandt Bachelet led Fossil Ridge’s passing attack with 140 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and one interception. Fossil Ridge’s leading receiver was Garrett Burns, who caught six passes for 102 yards.
Cade Gonzalez spearheaded the Fossil Ridge ground game by finishing with 171 yards in the contest, averaging 8.1 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Horizon heading to play Fairview and Fossil Ridge taking on Rocky Mountain.
