Mitchell couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Lutheran squad, losing by a score of 78-0 on Friday, Oct. 4.
Max Rivkin powered Lutheran’s passing attack with 158 yards through the air. Rivkin also added 42 yards on the ground. Andre Norman lead all Lutheran receivers with three catches for 100 yards and three scores. Da’vonte Street got in on the action in the passing game as well, catching four passes for 77 yards.
Brandon Belgrave spearheaded the Lutheran ground game by finishing with 55 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 18.3 yards per carry.
Mitchell will stay home and play Sierra, while Lutheran will travel to play Palmer Ridge.
