Cherokee Trail earned a win when they beat Grandview 26-7 on Friday, Oct. 11 at Legacy Stadium.

Jacob Burr led Grandview’s aerial attack with 136 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown without an interception. Burr also added 52 yards on the ground. Grandview’s leading receiver was Jordan Smith, who caught six passes for 80 yards and one score.

Noah Schmidt spearheaded the Grandview ground game by running for 102 yards in the game.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Cherokee Trail hosting Overland and Grandview taking on Arapahoe.
