Lincoln couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Kennedy squad, losing by a score of 62-8 on Friday, Oct. 11 at All City Field, Football Field.
Kennedy quarterback Isaac Sisneros led the aerial attack with 133 yards through the air.
Kennedy’s rushing attack was lead by Elias Horta who ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 13.8 yards per carry. Horta also tacked on 36 receiving yards. Shawn Salazar added 63 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, averaging 15.8 yards per carry, as well as 70 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Oswyn Ruiz powered Lincoln’s passing attack with 65 yards through the air. Ruiz also added 102 yards on the ground. Brayden Bilbrey lead all Lincoln receivers with three receptions for 82 yards.
Lincoln’s rushing game was lead by Alfredo Romero and his 24 yards on six carries.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Kennedy heading to play Conifer and Lincoln taking on Evergreen.
