Highland couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Strasburg squad, losing by a score of 35-14 on Friday.

Collin Russell led Strasburg’s passing attack with 137 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns without an interception. Russell also added 70 yards and one touchdown on the ground. A.j. Hemphill lead all Strasburg receivers with three receptions for 67 yards and one score.

Trystan Graf paced all Strasburg rushers with 74 yards in the contest, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.

Highland quarterback Sam Hnizdil led the passing attack with 148 yards through the air. Hnizdil also added 26 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Highland’s leading receiver was Jaden Rigg, who caught four passes for 89 yards.

Highland’s ground attack was lead by Holden Morgan who racked up 67 yards in the contest. Morgan also tacked on 36 receiving yards.

Next up for each team, Highland will stay home and play Flatirons Academy, while Strasburg will travel to play The Pinnacle.
