Another sunny and dry day is coming your way on Thursday, Denver.

In the high mountain valleys, gusty winds up to 30 mph and low humidities mean a Red Flag Warning is in effect until 7 p.m. because of increasing fire danger. The mountains are expected to get some rain and snow showers as well as gusty winds up to 50 mph in the evening, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. They could receive a couple inches of snow in the higher elevations, the hazardous weather outlook stated.

Thursday’s weather forecast calls for a high of 81 degrees with light and variable winds up to 7 mph in the afternoon. The low is expected near 45 degrees with wind up to 6 mph.

Friday will likely bring cooler weather with a high expected near 65 degrees and low near 35 with a slight chance of rain showers, according to the weather service.
