Frederick easily put away Holy Family by a score of 52-21 on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Frederick quarterback Jake Green led the passing attack with 306 yards through the air. Green also added 231 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Dylan Sindelar lead all Frederick receivers with 10 catches for 170 yards and three scores. Dominik Schleif got involved in the passing game as well, catching two passes for 64 yards and one touchdown.
Frederick was lead by Brandon Hornby and his 113 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 11.3 yards per carry. Hornby also tacked on 30 receiving yards.
Calahan Carter led Holy Family’s passing attack with 230 yards through the air. Carter also added 30 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Taylor Jones lead all Holy Family receivers with seven catches for 81 yards and one score.
Trevin Johnson paced the Holy Family rushing attack by accumulating 88 yards in the game, averaging 4.4 yards per carry. Johnson also tacked on 48 receiving yards.
In their next games, Frederick will play host to Denver North, while Holy Family will travel to play Mead.
