Mitchell couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Canon City squad, losing by a score of 50-0 on Friday.
Harrison Pilafas led Canon City’s passing attack with 115 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns without an interception. Seth Newton lead all Canon City receivers with seven receptions for 72 yards and two scores.
Raymond Cammel paced the Canon City ground game by accumulating 111 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 6.2 yards per carry.
Mitchell will stay home and play Harrison, while Canon City will travel to play Sierra.
