With the exception of some sleet on Wednesday evening, the week ahead is expected to be dry, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Tuesday will be sunny with a high temperature of 58 in the metro area, Russelle Danielson, NWS meteorologist said.
Cloud cover is expected to increase on Wednesday and the high temperature should stall at 50 degrees. There is a slight chance of freezing drizzle and patchy fog on Wednesday night when the low temperature is expected to be 28 degrees.
On Thursday skies are expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 48. On Thursday night the temperature should drop to 31.
Residents will have another sunny day on Friday when the temperature will climb back up to 62 degrees. The temperature is expected to hit 62 degrees on Friday and fall to 31 degrees overnight.
Saturday is again expected to be sunny with a high of 66 degrees.
