A suspect has been arrested in connection to a woman’s death at a Lakewood Motel.
Jarvis Gates, 38, was arrested at about 2 p.m. Tuesday for the death of 32-year-old Rotasha Pryor-Thomas at the Chalet Motel, 6051 W. Alameda Ave., according to police. Pryor-Thomas body was found Saturday at the motel.

Gates was arrested without incident, police said. He is being held on suspicion of felony murder and second-degree kidnapping.
