Denver police are investigating a “non-criminal” death involving an adult female at Glenarm Place and the 16th Street Mall, Christine Downs, a police spokesperson said on Monday.
The street was closed before 9 a.m. Monday. Police originally tweeted that the street was closed while officers worked to help a person in crisis.
At 8:56 a.m., police again tweeted saying the incident had become a death investigation.
“The victim in this incident appears to be an adult female,” police tweeted at 9:46 a.m.
Denver police have not released any other information about what happened.
The street officially reopened around 5:25 p.m., Denver police spokesman Kurt Barnes said.
